This is not my best photography but I didn’t go to Cameroon with the primary intention of herping. Instead, I went to visit my sister who was serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer at the time. Of course anybody into frogs with a chance to visit Central Africa cannot at least spend a few nights in the forest to have a look around, and so below are a handful of the herps we found together. Most of these photos are from Korup National Park in Southwest Province, though because my sister had friends at the zoo in Yaounde we also got to tag along on a mission to collect a new Goliath Frog for the country’s national zoo and visit a few other parts of Cameroon along the way.
