Peru is home to an incredible diversity of amphibian species including some of my favorite – the poison dart frogs. In August of 2005 I spent several weeks photographing amphibians with Mark Pepper and Manuel Sanchez of Understory Enterprises. The trip changed everything for me – a first look at the frogs I kept at home in the wild and a chance to see the environment they live in.
